meet eryn

Eryn grew up weeding and watering her mums’ beautiful garden on Bowen Island, and took a landscaping summer job after finishing her BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria. She found she loved being in the garden so much, the original teaching career plan was abandoned, and she dove into learning more about garden design. After almost a decade of working in the landscape industry, and completing her diploma in horticulture and landscape systems from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, she started Fronds & Friends Garden Design. Now living with her family in Nelson, BC, she enjoys designing gardens both locally, as well as remotely for clients across Canada.

She’s passionate about creating gardens and outdoor spaces that enhance her client’s families’ lives. From the first meeting, collaboration and learning about your family and home will be the inspiration for your garden design. Striving to incorporate existing plants as much as possible, Fronds & Friends prioritizes designing gardens with ecological benefits in mind.
